Monica creates beautiful images to help counterbalance a world that constantly surrounds us with scary and anxiety-provoking images. With her artwork, she also aims to bring calm to our human brain, which has a negative bias to keep us safe. Monica creates conceptual images that explore the space between who we are at our core and who we think we “should” be according to the world that surrounds us. Her photographs illustrate the experiences that create this divide, and the process of returning to who we are at heart in order to live our purpose. It is by returning to our true self and living our soul purpose that we can bring the greatest beauty and light to the world.
