Melanated Deaf Visual Arts Project | MDVAP

Melanated Deaf Visual Arts Project (MDVAP) is an Arizona-based Deaf-centered arts initiative uplifting Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, Hard of Hearing, and Late Deafened BIPOC artists and communities. Through exhibitions, storytelling, workshops, accessibility advocacy, and cultural programming, MDVAP creates spaces where language, identity, and visual arts intersect. Our work centers community connection, representation, and creative empowerment while increasing visibility for historically marginalized Deaf artists across Arizona.
