Art on the Wild Side is proud to present A History of the Phoenix Zoo.
Since the Zoo opened more than 60 years ago, we have come a long way in animal care, conservation and, more recently, artistic endeavors.
This pictorial history shares the Zoo’s progress through depictions of our construction, animals and people. We are endlessly grateful for the many people who have made contributions of finances, time and talents to help build and maintain the Phoenix Zoo.
